This website is the fulfillment of the vision of a distinguished faculty of international experts to assist with the recovery and maintenance of quality of life in patients with advanced cancers. Specifically, the site addresses breast cancer, prostate cancer, and multiple myeloma, and related skeletal complications. Skeletal complications of advanced cancers arise from the spread of cancer to the bone.

A portion of this website is intended for healthcare professionals, and another portion is intended for patients and their caregivers. The portion of the website intended for healthcare professionals will help elevate awareness of the need to address skeletal wellness after cancer is diagnosed and reduce the risk of skeletal complications.

For the patient and caregiver, this virtual Skeletal Wellness Institute will strive to provide information about cancer and bone health that is current and easy to understand.
